Case studies

Four case studies, labelled honestly

My own operation

1. Own-brand 9-platform content system

Problem
A new brand needs a steady daily presence, and I had no client budget to lean on.
Constraints
One person, no paid team, nine platforms to keep consistent.
What I did
Built a daily content system for NeedCraft: a content calendar, posting routine, captions, and basic community replies.
Result
As of 26 Oct 2026, NeedCraft is live on nine platforms. Check the profiles in the Social section. No performance claims are made.
What I'd do differently
Start a monthly reporting rhythm earlier, so every platform has a written review from day one.
My own channel — not client work

2. Own YouTube channel: Joker Gaming

Problem
Grow and maintain a gaming channel as a solo creator.
Constraints
Solo production, with no outside team or budget.
What I did
Ran the channel myself: recording, editing, publishing, and upkeep.
Result
Listed at 8,150 subscribers / 186,416 views when this page was written (26 Oct 2026). Verify on the live channel.
What I'd do differently
Plan hooks and titles before recording, and review the channel analytics on a fixed schedule.
AI-assisted, human-reviewed

3. AI-assisted edit — Case File 018

Problem
Raw short-form footage needs captions, a strong opening hook, and tighter pacing before it is ready to post.
Constraints
Fast turnaround, with every cut still checked by a person.
What I did
Edit with an AI-assisted workflow (AI-assisted, human-reviewed): AI helps with rough cuts and caption drafts, and I review and correct every cut.
Result
Watch the showreel above (Case File 018): the opening hook, caption-led pacing, and tight case-file structure are the edit itself — the same approach I use for brand Shorts. No performance claims are made.
What I'd do differently
Document each edit decision in a short note, so a client can see what the AI did and what I changed.

Edit breakdown — what to look for: the opening hook in the first seconds, captions that carry the pacing, and a structure that ends on the takeaway. AI-assisted, human-reviewed: AI helps with rough cuts and caption drafts, and I review and correct every cut.

SPEC WORK — NOT A CLIENT

4. Spec campaign

Problem
Show how a daily content system would be set up for a small brand, without a real client.
Constraints
No real audience, no live data, and no brand access.
What I did
Outline a spec content calendar, caption approach, and reporting layout. Hypothetical only.
Result
No live results exist, because spec work has no audience data. The sample calendar below is the plan itself — hypothetical, not results.
What I'd do differently
Replace the spec with a real, small paid engagement and publish dated results with the client's permission.
SPEC — 7-day sample content calendar (hypothetical plan, not results)

Process

How an engagement runs

  1. Intro email. You tell me about your brand, platforms, and goals.
  2. Scope and quote. I confirm the scope and the final quote (USD and PKR) before any work starts.
  3. Payment. Starter Sprints are 100% upfront. Project work is 50% upfront / 50% on delivery.
  4. Kickoff. You send brand basics, access, and raw footage as needed.
  5. Production. I build the calendar and posts, or edit the videos. Any AI assistance is labelled, and every cut is human-reviewed.
  6. Delivery and revisions. You review, and revisions follow the terms in the quote.
  7. Ongoing. If we continue, I run the monthly content rhythm and a monthly report.

FAQ

Honest answers

Why are there no client testimonials?

I have no paid clients yet, and I won't invent any. The proof here is my own work, which is labelled as mine and can be checked on the live profiles.

How is AI used in editing?

AI assists with the workflow, such as rough cuts and caption drafts. A person (me) reviews and corrects every cut before delivery, and I label AI assistance wherever editing is mentioned.

What are typical timelines?

Timelines depend on scope, so each quote states a delivery date before you pay. I'd rather confirm a realistic date than promise a fixed turnaround up front.

How do revisions work?

The quote states how many revision rounds are included, agreed before work starts. Requests outside that scope are quoted separately.

What are the payment terms?

Starter Sprints are 100% upfront. Project work is 50% upfront / 50% on delivery. Ongoing work follows the monthly terms in your quote.

What do you need from a client to start?

A short brief about your brand and goals, access to your accounts (or a way to publish), any raw footage or assets, brand guidelines if you have them, and one person who approves work.
